The Picnic for the Arts relies on Volunteers for every aspect of the picnic, from the planning stage right through to the clean-up. Please consider donating an hour of your time to spread the work out amongst us all. You can email your available time to huron.volunteer@gmail.com
Before we know it the Picnic of the Arts will be here….Friday, June 3, 2016!

The Picnic is Huron’s largest fundraiser of the year and the funds go toward raising money we need to provide enriched arts programming, from visiting performers to hand-on on art workshops, that our kids love so much.  The proceeds will also support our local shelters with families in need.

To help raise these funds each class will participate by providing a class donation to the auction of either a ‘class basket’ or ‘class art project’ to be auctioned off at the silent auction.

Please see the listing on the following page to determine if your child’s class has been chosen to prepare a basket or art project. 

Class Baskets-

For those classes who are preparing a class basket, the theme for the baskets is outlined on the next page.

We are asking for those children whose class is chosen to put together class baskets, to please send in an item for the themed basket or money donation (suggested $10) by May 31, 2016.

Art Project-

We are asking for those children whose class is chosen to do the art project, to please send in a money donation to cover the art supplies and materials for the art project (suggested $10) by May 31, 2016.

Come see your class basket or art project up for bid at the Picnic Friday, June 3, 2016 and see if you can take it home by placing the winning bid!
