Big Tree

Huron has a big tree located in the NE corner of the playground area. Reportedly, Big Tree is the largest Silver Maple in the entire Toronto District School Board. It is also reported to be the second oldest tree in the Annex.

The Annex Residents Association has an ongoing survey called TreesPlease, in partnership with the Urban Forestry program at the University of Toronto, aimed at identifying and documenting every tree in the Annex!
