Alpha II Alternative School Open House for Grades 7-12

At Alpha II students direct their own learning based on their passions for learning in relation to what they personally value in life. At the same time they are willing and able to become part of a Community based on consensus where each person’s voice counts in developing that consensus. Students record their own progress in personal portfolios. We have no homework, no tests, no competitions and make no comparisons.
Alpha II is located in the same building as Kent Senior Public School, 2nd floor, 980 Dufferin St. Near Dufferin Subway stop.
Application packages will be available. Students attend with parents unless living on their own
Mark Tuesday, January 24th on your calendars at 6:30pm, as Winona Drive opens up its doors to Grade 6 families.

The best ways to answer these questions and more is by visiting our open house on Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30pm. Students and their families will be able to tour the school, meet our staff, talk to current students and experience the range of different programs that are offered here at Winona.
