Dear Huron Community:

We are once again looking for parents/caregivers or members of our community who might be interested in becoming temporary lunchroom supervisors.

You do not need to be available 5 days a week, and not necessarily even on a regular basis either – we’re looking for people who would be available for us to call if one of our permanent lunchroom supervisors are away. When we call, you may or may not be available, hence why we always like to have a few people whom we can call when needed.

There is a TDSB process to become a temporary lunchroom supervisor – if you’re interested in more information please call the school (416-393-1570) and I would be happy to chat with you and give you more information about what’s involved.

PIZZA LUNCH

Our January Pizza Lunch is this week, on Wednesday January 18th, 2017. Pizza will be coming for students who have already registered for the Pizza Lunch program, and extra slices will be available on Wednesday for $2.00 each.

P.A.DAY

Friday January 20th, 2017 is a P.A. Day and there is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday.

PROLOGUE PERFORMANCE

Our first Prologue performance for this school year will be on Wednesday January 25th for students in Grades 1 to 6. The performance will be in the afternoon, beginning at approximately 1:00pm. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to join us if you are available.

WELCOME BACK

We hope that everyone had happy and healthy holidays and we’re delighted to see everyone back. A reminder that if your family is on an extended holiday and you forgot to let the office know you will be receiving the safe arrival phone calls. Please remember to call or email us whenever your child is going to be away, regardless of the reason for the absence.

Just a reminder to everyone that our January Pizza Lunch is NOT this week! Our January Pizza Lunch will be next week, on Wednesday January 18th, 2017. Please make sure all students have a lunch this Wednesday.
