A Vision and Hearing Clinic is going to be available here at Huron on MONDAY JANUARY 19th, 2015. This is a wonderful opportunity for service to your children within the school day. These clinics are an optional service offered for families for health awareness purposes.
School based clinics are operated by the Toronto Foundation for Student Success, the non-profit, charitable organization associated with the TDSB. Fees are collected to help offset the cost of bringing these clinics to schools and any proceeds are used to support TFSS – no profit is made.
We have already received the minimum number of registrations necessary so the clinic will definitely be happening. We have to confirm numbers by the end of the first week back in January so please do not delay in returning the form if you are interested in participating.
We do want to remind parents that for children under the age of 18, the cost of an annual eye examination with an Optometrist in the community is covered by the Ministry of Health with your child’s health card.
