FEBRUARY HURON EARTH HOUR
Friday, February 24th, 2017 is when we’re having our monthly Huron Earth Hour – the time each month when our whole school focuses on reducing our energy consumption. At this time, as much as possible, all classrooms turn off their lights and power down, or off, all electronic equipment. We also encourage all families in our Huron community to spend time each month doing the same – and you’d be surprised what great activites you can do that don’t involve energy consumption.

The following events are happening at Huron over the next few weeks. Please see “Huron Happenings” for more details and make sure you mark your calendar:
- Monday February 27th – our African Heritage Month Celebration Assembly at 10:40am
- Wednesday March 1st – our March Pizza Lunch
- Thursday March 9th – Huron’s Annual Dance-A-Thon. Get your dancing shoes out – all classes will be participating
- March 13th – March 17th inclusive – March Break. Schools will be closed for this week
